Red Pheasant Elders Association Gathering – Cree Language Revitalization Project Launch

The Red Pheasant Elders Association hosted a special gathering to launch its Cree Language Revitalization Project, bringing together Elders, community members, and partners to celebrate the beginning of a multi-phase initiative to reclaim, preserve, and pass on Nehiyawêwin. The event featured a powerful presentation by Cree speaker, Ralph Morin

 

Ralph Morin of Big River First Nation followed with an engaging and insightful presentation on the foundational structure of the Cree language, offering participants a deeper understanding of how Nehiyawêwin is rooted in relational worldviews and cultural teachings.
